There's nothing more frustrating than working long hours to create your document only to find that when you send the file to a print shop, their designer or prepress department can't get the electronic files to work with their equipment.

We understand. That's why we offer Adobe PDF JobReady...so you can send us a perfect electronic file every time.

We don't care what software you use, how many fonts you have, what photos you've included, as long as you download the PDF JobReady software to fit your computing platform. PDF JobReady employs the latest PDF technology to transform virtually any electronic file into a file that allows us to print your documents exactly as you see them on your computer screen.

Once PDF JobReady is installed, open the file you would like to have printed. When you're ready to print, select "Print to Minuteman Press" in your print dialogue box.

At that point, a PDF will be created for you to proof (right on your computer screen!). Review the proof carefully to make sure the PDF looks "okay to print" (Remember: We will print the PDF EXACTLY the way it is sent to us).

Send the PDF to our printshop by selecting the "Submit Now" button. We'll receive a perfect, print-ready PDF electronic file, and we're ready to process your order.

Adobe® PDF JobReady^TM License Agreement

Common Terms

"Adobe JobReady Software" shall refer to the applicable Adobe and Firespring software including server-based software, End User Software, and any other software or documentation provided to Client by Firespring for the purposes of this Agreement

"Agreement" shall refer to this License Agreement in its written form.

"Client" shall refer to any Firespring client using a Firespring product or service.

"End User" shall refer to any customer of Client utilizing the Adobe JobReady Software.

"End User Software" shall refer to any software or documentation installed or residing on the End User's premises or equipment. This includes printer drivers and help files provided solely for the use with the Adobe JobReady Software.

"Process" shall mean to receive, decrypt, print, or store a PDF file through the Adobe JobReady Software.

1. Downloads. If Client desires to obtain the Adobe Job Ready Software electronically by way of a download, Client will download such software only from a Website owned or operated by or on behalf of Firespring.

2. No Reverse Engineering. Client agrees that it will not attempt to reverse engineer, disassemble, decrypt or decompile the Adobe JobReady Software.

3. File Names. Client will not, and will not permit any third party to, change the name of any Adobe printer driver file or Adobe printer driver icon without Adobe's prior written consent. Client will not, and will not permit any third party to, change the name of any Firespring printer driver file or Firespring printer driver icon without Firespring's prior written consent.

4. LZW Notice. Client acknowledges that the Adobe JobReady Software contains Adobe's Acrobat technology and that such technology contains an implementation of the LZW algorithm licensed under U.S. Patent No. 4,558,302.

5. No Modification. Client will not sell, rent, lease, modify, or translate the Adobe JobReady Software or operate the Adobe JobReady Software for the benefit of any third party (including, without limitation, operating the Adobe JobReady Software on a time share, service provision, or any other basis that would permit Client to Process PDF files for a third party).

6. Reservation of Rights. Firespring reserves all rights not expressly granted under the license agreement. Title to the Adobe JobReady Software will remain with Firespring and its suppliers. Client agrees that those techniques, algorithms, and processes contained in the Adobe JobReady Software hereunder constitute trade secret information of Adobe or of Adobe's third party supplier or of Firespring and will be used by Client only in accordance with the terms of this license agreement.

7. Nondisclosure. Except as expressly provided in this agreement, Client agrees that it will disclose the Adobe JobReady Software only to those employees with a need to know who have agreed in writing (a) not to disclose the Adobe JobReady Software, (b) to use the Adobe JobReady Software only as permitted by this Written Agreement, and (c) to take all reasonable precautions to prevent disclosure to other parties. Client will take all measures reasonably required to protect the proprietary rights of Adobe and Firespring in such proprietary information.

8. Termination. Upon cancellation, termination or expiration of the Agreement between Firespring and Datalogics Inc., this agreement shall terminate. In addition, Firespring may terminate the agreement at any time, with or without cause, upon providing Client with a notice of termination, and upon receiving such notice, Client shall immediately discontinue all use or copying of the Adobe JobReady Software, except as expressly provided in this Agreement. Within ten (10) days of such termination, Client shall have: (a) returned to Firespring all copies of the Adobe JobReady Software in its possession or under its control; (b) completely destroyed all copies of the Adobe JobReady Software stored in any storage apparatus or media owned or controlled by Client; and, (c) presented to Firespring a certificate stating that all such copies of the Adobe JobReady Software have been returned or destroyed. Sections 2 (No Reverse Engineering), 3 (File Names), 5 (No Modification), 6 (Reservation of Rights), 7 (Nondisclosure), 9 (No Supplier Liability), 10 (Indemnity), and 14 (Injunctive Relief) shall survive termination or expiration of the license agreement.

9. No Supplier Liability. Firespring does not make any warranties on behalf of its suppliers. Firespring's suppliers will have no liability to Client related to this agreement.

10. Indemnity. Client shall indemnify and hold Firespring and Adobe harmless against any claim, loss, liability or damage, including attorneys' fees and other costs, including costs of litigation, arising out of Client's transfer, use, disclosure or copying of Adobe JobReady Software in violation of any provisions contained in the agreement.

11. No Assignment. Any right granted to Client hereunder is personal to Client, and Client may not assign or transfer any right or obligation that it may have under the agreement to any other party, and any attempt to do so shall be null and void.

12. U.S. Government End Users. The Adobe JobReady Software is a "commercial item" as that term is defined at 48 C.F.R. 2.101, consisting of "commercial computer software" and "commercial computer software documentation" as such terms are used in 48 C.F.R. 12.212. Consistent with 48 C.F.R. 12.212 and 48 C.F.R. 227.7202-1 through 227.7202-4, all U.S. Government end users acquire the Adobe JobReady Software with only those rights set forth therein.

13. Third Parties. Client is hereby notified that Adobe Systems Incorporated, a Delaware corporation, located at 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, California 95110 ("Adobe") and Adobe Systems Software Ireland Limited, a company incorporated in Ireland ("Adobe Ireland") are the suppliers of the Adobe JobReady Software to Firespring. Client agrees that there are third-party beneficiaries to terms of this Agreement that relate to Client's use of the Adobe JobReady Software, which provisions are made expressly for the benefit of Adobe and Adobe Ireland and are enforceable by Adobe and Adobe Ireland in addition to Firespring.

14. Injunctive Relief. In the event of Client's failure to comply with the terms of this Agreement, Adobe and/or Firespring shall have the right to injunctive relief in addition to any other remedy available to it.

15. Export. Client acknowledges that the laws and regulations of the United States restrict the export and re-export of commodities and technical data of United States origin, including the Adobe JobReady Software and the provision of the PDF JobReady Service, and understands that the Adobe JobReady Software and PDF JobReady Service is an "encryption item" subject to controls under the Export Administration Regulations promulgated by the U.S. Department of Commerce. Client will not export or re-export the Adobe JobReady Software or provide the PDF JobReady Service, or any portion thereof, in any form in violation of the export laws of the United States or any foreign jurisdiction. Client will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Adobe and Firespring from and against all fines, penalties, liabilities, damages, costs, and expenses incurred by Adobe or Firespring as a result of any violation of such laws or regulations by Client or any of its agents or employees.

16. License Grant. Client is granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access the PDF JobReady Service solely by way of permitting End Users to submit PDF files generated by the End User Software to be processed by the Server Software for Client's internal use. Client shall not transfer the PDF files generated by the End User Software to any third party or location other than licensed Client.

17. Reproduction. If Client is granted the right to reproduce the End User Software, then Client shall ensure that each copy (a) is an exact reproduction of the original and (b) is used solely subject to the terms set forth in this Agreement. Client shall affix to each such reproduction of the End User Software, all copyright, restricted rights, and other proprietary information notices identical to the notices appearing on the master copy submitted to Client hereunder, or such other notices as Firespring or Adobe may require.
